Oversight is an operating design choice
Telling people to check AI output is not enough. Useful oversight defines who reviews the result, what evidence they use and what happens when confidence is low.
Higher-impact decisions need stronger review and clearer records. Low-risk drafting can often use a lighter touch.
Make escalation easy
People should be able to pause the process, correct an output and report a recurring problem without working around the system.
